BuddhaNet is the result of a vision to link up with the growing world-wide culture of people committed to the Buddha's teachings and lifestyle, as an on-line cyber sangha. In this way,  It is a not-for-profit organisation affiliated with the Buddha Dharma Education Association Inc, which was established in Sydney by Ven. Pannyavaro, a monk.

The Journal of Buddhist Ethics was established to promote the study of Buddhist ethics through the publication of research articles, discussions and critical notes, bulletins, and reviews. The Journal of Buddhist Ethics is the first academic journal dedicated entirely to Buddhist ethics, and is innovative in adopting a totally electronic mode of publication.

Nagarjuna Institute and University of the west have jointly launched the Digital Sanskrit Buddhist Canon Website for the benefit of the scholastic world. Our goal is to promote research into the vast Sanskrit Buddhist Canon. The scriptures and treatises which make up this canon encompass over a hundred thousand printed pages.

 

 
Ven. Thrangu Rinpoche (www.rinpoche.com)

Khenpo Thrangu Rinpoche was born in Tibet in 1933. H.H. the Gyalwa Karmapa and Palpung Situ Rinpoche recognized him as the incarnation of Thrangu Tulku. This website contains Ven. Thrangu Rinpoche's itinery, projects, Seminar and retreat, Buddhist Links and Publications etc. It also features the audio teachings of Ven. Thrangu Rinpoche.

The Ranjana script is one of the most decorative scripts of Nepal. This font will definitely facilitate the enhancement of the study of Buddhist literature written in Ranjana script as well as for those who relish in the use of this script. This font was developed by Mr.Miroj Shakya under the guidance of Mr. Asta Man Shakya, a  well known epigraphist in Patan.

Lotus Research Centre (LRC) is a non-profit,  non-government and government registered organization dedicated to the cause of preserving and promoting Buddhist culture through research and studies with a view to contributing to the quality of life of all Buddhists in Nepal. Lumbini Nepalese Buddha Dharma Society (UK) (www.lumbini.org.uk)

Nepalese living in the UK, finds no Nepalese Buddhist organizations to practice Buddhist teachings for their spiritual development. So in Feb. 1997 a group of Nepalese founded Lumbini Nepalese Buddha Dharma Society (UK) to fill this gap. The website has attractions for the Buddhist studies specially about Nepalese Buddhism and Buddhist culture.

 

 
Lama Yeshe Wisdom Archive (www.lamayeshe.com)

The Lama Yeshe Wisdom Archive (LYWA) is the collected works of Lama Thubten Yeshe and Kyabje Lama Thubten Zopa Rinpoche. The Archive was founded in 1996 by Lama Zopa Rinpoche, its spiritual director, to make available in various ways the teachings it contains. Distribution of free booklets of edited teachings
is one of those ways.
