| Lalitavistara Sutra |
|
|
|
Lalitavistara
Sutra is one of the nine vaipulya texts of Nepalese
Buddhism. The Sanskrit version contains only 27 chapters
narrating the scenes from the birth of the Buddha to his
first turning of wheel. But this book has 66 chapters
sourced from different Mahayana texts and has the complete
birth story upto Mahaparinirvana.

History of Buddhism in Nepal |
|
|
|
This book is a
welcome addition to the published materials about the
history of Buddhism in Nepal. The revisions and stuffs about

improvement. Buddhism in Nepal represents a rich area of
research. This book has been prepared in a condensed and
revised form to fill the gap on the history of Buddhism in
Nepal.
