Wellness Meditations
Meditation is an excellent practice of quiet the mind and inner self and exploring the spirit through deep concentration. Wellness meditations are practiced in order to bring about a greater sense of well-being and stronger spiritual constitution. After a demanding day of work but when it is important to find the inner balance again. Internal values and standards find their right place and dormant powers are awakened. Equally stressful it can be to have a job and be unhappy about it. Even while the meditation helps to inner peace, while you look around for a new job.
Wellness meditations stress the contiguity of the seven dimensions of wellness: social, emotional, spiritual, occupational, environmental, intellectual, and physical. The combining of dimensions through meditation is essential to an individual\’s continued growth as an integrated whole.
Through the use of guided imagery, chanting, and song, an individual seeking the true emergence of self can begin the journey to its attainment through such wellness meditations. While there are no set guidelines or strict techniques for wellness meditation, the power of meditation can increase awareness and enlightenment to anyone interested in expanding the search for oneness.
An example of a wellness meditation technique is mindful breathing. Through mindful breathing, the individual begins the relaxation process of meditation through conscious effort of focusing on the breath. The concentration on breathing allows for the other aspects of the self to simultaneously enter a relaxed state in order to rejuvenate the mind, body, and spirit. During this method, the body is also able to properly take in oxygen effectively and exhale the toxins of the mind and body.
Wellness meditations in general are an excellent place for the novice enlightenment seeker to begin the journey to a healthier mind-body.
